How to use it

To lose weight it is recommended to consume between 1 to 6 grams of cinnamon daily, and can be used in various ways, as shown below:

1. Cinnamon Tea

Ingredients


  • 4 cinnamon sticks;
  • Lemon Gothic;
  • 1 liter of water.


Preparation Mode

Place the ingredients in a pot and boil for about 10 minutes. Remove the cinnamon sticks, squeeze a few drops of lemon and drink it warm. Consume 3 cups a day before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. To vary the taste of tea, you can also add a bit of ginger. If you cannot drink tea without sugar, you can add natural sweeteners such as stevia or honey.

2. Cinnamon Water

Cinnamon water can be prepared by directly placing 1 stick in 1 glass of water, letting it stand for a few minutes so that the cinnamon releases the mucilages and gums that will help increase satiety. It is also possible to prepare the tea and place it in the fridge or add some ice cubes.

3. Cinnamon Supplements or Tincture

There are cinnamon supplements that can be purchased in stores selling natural products or online, in these cases must follow the manufacturer's instructions, however, the recommended dose can vary between 1 to 6 grams per day.

Contraindications

Cinnamon should not be consumed in case of suspicion of pregnancy, or during pregnancy, because cinnamon stimulates the contraction of the uterus and can cause abortion or premature delivery. It should also be avoided by people allergic to this seasoning or in cases of gastric or intestinal ulcers.
